I’m Anna Zeide, a faculty member in the History Department at Oklahoma State University.

I study the history of food, environment, consumerism, and justice. My first book  focused on the history of canned food, to understand the deepest roots of the American food industry: Canned: The Rise and Fall of Consumer Confidence in the American Food Industry (California Studies in Food and Culture, University of California Press, 2018).
